Background and Current Situation

In the early morning hours of Saturday, March 10, 2007, a fire destroyed the Canadian North cargo facility in Iqaluit. We have temporarily relocated our facilities to Nunavut Services located at 1559B Federal Road. Freight can be picked up or dropped off at that location until further notice. .

Our immediate priority is to work with the cargo customers that may have lost freight as a result of the fire. For those customers who had shipments that may have been in the warehouse as of Friday March 9th, please initiate the claim process outlined below. For further information with regard to your specific shipment please contact our temporary cargo information line in Iqaluit at 867-979-6802 or 867-979-5232.

For all regular shipping needs, tender your shipments as normal. Please call 979-5317 or 975-2773 to arrange for local Iqaluit pickups and deliveries or contact our toll-free cargo line at 1-866-663-2223.

We do not anticipate any further disruption to our operations and appreciate your patience and understanding during this period. Please check this site for regular updates.
