Community Support applications will not be processed from, July 22 – Aug 31, 2008; December 1, 2008 – January 12, 2009 and May 29 – June 30, 2009. It is necessary to apply prior to the blackout dates, if you are requesting sponsorship for an event within these time frames.

Canadian North is involved in northern communities, through sponsorship and support of special events, sports teams and school activities. This is what the Community Investment Program is all about and we are proud of the volunteering of our employees who collectively invest hundreds of hours each year, making their communities a better place to live and work.

Canadian North supports local events sponsored by non-profit organizations or associations by providing discounted and complimentary airfares and/or promotional items. 

How to Apply

If your organization is interested in applying for support from the Canadian North Community Investment Program, you must complete and submit an application form two months prior to the date of the event.
