June 21, 2018 - Canadian North announces new Wednesday Qikiqtani ⇄ Kivalliq passenger and cargo service, with convenient early flight times

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 21, 2018 Canadian North is pleased to announce the launch of a new Wednesday flight between Iqaluit, Cape Dorset and Rankin Inlet. It is now available for booking on the web at canadiannorth.com, by calling Canadian North at 1.800.661.1505 or by speaking with your travel agent. Service will begin Wednesday, August 1, 2018.

Canadian North will operate this flight with a versatile Bombardier Dash 8 Combi aircraft, providing additional passenger and cargo capacity between the Qikiqtani and Kivalliq regions. As with all of its combi flights, Canadian North will continually adjust the seating and cargo mix to efficiently meet customer demand.

This flight has been scheduled with convenient early departure and arrival times, bringing new convenience for medical, duty, corporate and leisure travellers flying between the Qikiqtani and the Kivalliq. It will also facilitate the movement of country foods and other important freight between these regions via Fetchable (www.fetchable.ca), Canadian North’s 24/7 online cargo service offered in partnership with BBE Expediting Ltd.

The following is a summary of the schedule for this new flight:

In addition to this new Wednesday flight, Canadian North will also continue to offer its existing Trans-Arctic service between Yellowknife, Rankin Inlet and Iqaluit on Mondays and Friday, using its fast and comfortable Boeing 737-300 and 737-200 Combis, the largest aircraft to operate between these markets.
