Community support applications will not be processed between July 22 - August 31, 2008.

Support Criteria

The event or activity must be non profit and be of benefit to, and supported by, the local community.
Sponsorship will be dependant upon the level of exposure received by Canadian North. Offering an exclusive sponsorship opportunity will generate greater support for your organization.

Terms and Conditions

In order to qualify for support from the Canadian North Community Investment Program Program, event organizers must agree to the following conditions and promotional considerations.

Support must be accepted and used as awarded
Canadian North will supply appropriate logos which must appear on all event promotional materials. Samples of each item must be sent to Canadian North.
Where applicable, Canadian North will receive a minimum of six complimentary event tickets.
Event organizers are required to send a letter to community leaders, local media and MLA's, with a copy to Canadian North, recognizing Canadian North's support of the event.
Canadian North's literature (posters, display banners, brochures, schedules as applicable) will be supplied by Canadian North for display or use at the event.
Where applicable, a Canadian North representative will be present to make a brief presentation or award.
Event organizers will provide photographs of event activities, identifying Canadian North's visual presence and copies of any press coverage.
