Children and Infant Fares

Infants

Before their 2nd birthday, babies travel free of charge, sharing the seat of an accompanying adult. Alternately, infants may be seated in restraint devices certified for automobile and aircraft travel in an adjoining seat. Canadian North is pleased to provide a guaranteed adjoining seat at 90% of the regular adult fare. Children

Children between the ages of 2 to 11 receive 10% off available fares on confirmed travel when they are travelling with an adult, or anyone paying an adult fare.

Unaccompanied Travel by Children

Canadian North accepts unaccompanied children for travel provided specific guidelines are adhered to. Please click here for details. A fee of 40.00, plus applicable taxes (HST is charged for travel departing Ottawa and GST for departures out of other communities) per one-way travel, per unaccompanied minor, is charged for this service.
