Important Notice for Passengers

Effective October 2, 2006, if your flight requires pre-screening, Canadian North check-in counters will be closed 30 minutes prior to departure so we can get your flight out on time.

Please note: This does not apply to flights departing from Cambridge Bay, Rankin Inlet, Norman Wells, Inuvik and Hay River.

Important Security Announcement

In light of events in the UK, the Government of Canada has implemented new security procedures disallowing non-essential liquids and gels in passenger carry-on luggage.

For more detailed information, go to Transport Canada's (CATSA) website at
www.catsa-acsta.gc.ca.

Passengers throughout Canada should keep in mind there will be significant delays until passengers become accustomed to the new regulation. Please plan to be at the airport earlier than usual to avoid any inconvenience to you. Canadian North passengers most affected will be those flying into Edmonton and Ottawa.
