Fuel Surcharge Index

Canadian North’s fuel surcharge is established in relation to the cost of fuel. This surcharge is validated periodically based on changes in our markets. Fuel purchase prices are based on a combination of the North American jet fuel price benchmark and the price established by the responsible governmental agency on an annual basis for fuel sealifted into remote locations each summer.

The current Canadian North Cargo fuel surcharge is set at 22%, calculated as a percentage of weight. The charge appears as "other charges due carrier" on invoices.

Canadian North strives to provide you high level of customer service at a competitive price.
